Yep I'm trying to keep this forum alive

. So anyways, which one are you guys looking forward to the most? If you want a preview, go check the front page of A2M

. Oh and to make this actually have a point,
you can only choose one series.
I'm really looking forward to is Shion no Ou. I read the manga after I did the preview and I was completely blown away by its excellent character d0rama, protagonist, and plot in general

.
Now...It's your turn

.
Your attempt to keep this forum alive surely will not succeed. Fuahahahaha. Anyways, if I'm forced to make a choice, I'll have to say Gundam 00. Yes, I just wrote Gundam 00. Now before you trash your monitor from the sheer horror, allow me to justify my choice. If GS and GSD were any indication, the gundam series have the hidden potential to turn even the straightest man emo. There's nothing more satisfying than watching a perfectly sane and straight man going emo for no apparent reasons, then goes ahead and gets his ass owned by some other emo kid. It's almost an art. Just look at the characters for the new series: half of them already look emo before the series even began! The possibilities are boundless... Also, stuff like a named supporting character dying the moment he is introduced, or annoying bitches doing a triple-flip and dies, really makes your day. Oh, and I must not forget about the awesome war between pro and anti gundam groups. Humanity is an amazing species: they can take a random piece of crap found on the sidewalk and turn it into the cause of WWIII. And I get to witness all that happen while sitting in front of my comp and sipping fragrant coffee...and maybe sneer at them a little bit while that's happening. So that's my not-so-sane argument of the day; and now I'm off to increase my shrink appointments.
Rental Magica. I don't know much about it, but I like the character designs, and the animation and music in the pv promise good things. Anyway, JUN FUKUYAMA IN AN EYEPATCH! okay, so he's playing a character with an eyepatch, same difference There's really nothing in the fall season that strikes me as a show I just know I'll like (Terra e... was so for me in the spring), but this one's appealing enough.
... Unless there really will be a Code Geass season 2 in the fall, which I highly doubt at this point.
Ghost Hound. I'm a fan of masamune shirow, of course Ghost in the Shell and science fiction in general. Although it's probably more supernatural science fiction...but meh.

I agree that Jun Fukuyama is reason enough to watch Rental Magica
. But it's okay if there's nothing that strikes you as something that you usually like. With me, I usually get everything wrong

Seriously though, the summer and fall seasons seem to equal being kind of ... weak. I mean, for the spring season, I picked up a lot of shows like Terra e, Claymore and at least 3 more and I'm still planning to finish them. I only bothered watching Devil May Cry for the summer season and I'm only finishing it for the sake of finishing it.
Or maybe, the series that are premiering are just targeted at audiences with different tastes. Oh well, there's always that long list of old/older/really old shows I should start watching.

Yeah, I feel the same way. There seem to be a ton of "cute girls do random stuff" series this season (more than usual ...). But since I'm behind on half the series I started watching in the spring, a little bit of catch-up time wouldn't be bad for me either

Yeah that's what I thought too. The spring season was really strong while the summer was not so hot. I'm trying to lower my expectations for the fall and hope that it'll surprise me like the spring. After all, I thought Claymore and Darker than Black would suck
.....
And as for backlog, same here
. Mine is so big it's scary.
Yeah, I thought Claymore was going to be really cliche and lame since it's blonde girls with huge swords fighting demons (not the most original of ideas) but it turned out pretty well.
