This post is both an attempt to help keep the forums active as well as to hopefully clear up some of my worries. Are organic carrots supposed to come slimy?

No, I don't think so. I don't know about carrots getting slimy in general...

Well, I ate four packs of them, they didn't taste TOO bad so you don't have to worry yet. Just in case, I'll let you know if I died tomorrow.

If you ate enough carrots, you can turn orange - but a lot a lot of them. I think the pigment can get distributed to the skin, but only in very large quantities.

It's the same reason that flamingos are pink! (Er, not because of carrots, though ... yes, I'm adding nothing to this thread.)

If you eat enough silver it can also dye your skin and your eyes.
