Anime 2 Manga Forums

Another poll, I know Anyway, I was wondering how many people here know Japanese, whether you are fluent, have studied the language for a little while, or just know some words from watching anime.

As for me, I'm in my third year of study, so I can speak a little bit, understand a little bit, read a little bit, but there's still a whole lot I don't know yet.

For along time I wanted to learn Japanese, but I sat down one day in highschool and thought it out and decided that since I'm not likely to be going into a profession that requires fluency in Japanese there are more useful languages to learn. Thats not to say I never want to learn Japanese, I still think it would be awesome, I just don't see me learning it.

I'm learning right now at my local community college . I'm only in Japanese 1B but I like it. I don't know a lot besides the basics of course. I do get "AP credit" because it's a college class and it sure beats Spanish =D.
