I'd like to learn more than I know. I know I can sing it well enough, but I'd like to learn more about the culture, the language.. even cooking!
So, if anyone can share recipes, teach me a phrase or two.. that would be awesome!
ps. I've started to draw my own manga as well. Not quite as good in the panels >.< but I'm sure with practice (and more time!) I'll have something done.. in like a year or so.....
I can understand some kanji actually. And flashcards! What a grand idea ^_^ as for immersion, that'll be my reward when I'm done with my Master's

You sure you won't just write one and a half article and suddenly decide to throw in the towel? XD But I could always use some free lessons/reviews, so sounds good to me.

Phrase of the day sounds like a grand idea! For one thing, it would keep contributions regular, and everyone can make use of it.
What did you have in mind in terms of something "formal"?
