Oh wow.....first anime.....that's so long ago that i can't even remember lol. It's probably either the 80's Astroboy or Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman.

Mine would be Astroboy, then Voltes V, Diamos, Voltron.. I used to be a fan of mecha but I don't like mecha anymore. ^_^

Tough question ... there were plenty of shows I watched when I was little that were anime that I don't really remember (e.g., Voltron, SuperBook, etc.) and plenty more that toed the line (e.g., Last Unicorn, Serendipity). But I know one of the first was an old anime version of "Swan Lake," which featured the original score of the ballet. My mom rented it from Pharmore (which doesn't exist anymore) and made a copy of the tape that we still have today. I was a few years into my anime addiction before I remembered it and realized that it was an anime ^^;;

Its probably My Neighbor Totoro. I used to love watching that when I was the little. The thing is though I didn't realize at the time that Totoro IS anime so I don't really count it as being my introduction TO anime which came later with Akira.

Hehe. The Last Unicorn, I watched that some many times that my parents had to buy it a second time after I literally wore through the first Vhs... I was a weird child.

*heh* I did the same thing ... but it was the library's VHS. Last year, though, I *finally* bought the DVD ^^

Is "Flying House", the one with bible stories, a Japanese anime? I remember watching that when I was little. I just recalled when Madhaxor mentioned "Mighty House".

Oh, definitely. So is a similar show by the name of SuperBook -- I remember being shocked when I spotted that one in ANN's encyclopedia, because I definitely watched it as a child ^_^

Yeah, I've seen some episodes of SuperBook too but if you ask me, I like Flying house better. ^_^
