Anyways.. do you guys collect anime figurines? I don't. LOL
I just feel like they're too expensive. Jun (one of the staff) said $13 figurines are cheap. I don't know. I still feel it's too expensive.
I'm actually lucky enough to be close to a Japanese Market place and text to it is basically a figure store. Though I don't get the huge (1/8s) often (in fact only one is Meyrin) I pick up a ton of small ones and my room shows it. Though a lot of them are Gundam just because the store has a lot of that kind of stuff.
While I don't own any figurines yet I got my eyes on one I really want. Some day Shadro is going to forget to make me empty my pockets when I leave his house and his Tachikoma shall be mine.
When I lived in Japan, I spent a fair amount of money on collectibles like figurines (mostly Cardcaptors Sakura, Di Gi Charat, Galaxy Angel, etc.), but now that I'm back in Canada I don't have ready access to such items except through online shopping; it's just too much trouble to go through to buy figurines. They're still cool stuff though, and I wouldn't mind getting a couple when I visit Japan.

Ah I see.. yeah that's cheap. This afternoon my girlfriend an I went to the mall and looked at some figurines. DBZ figures which are like 1 1/2 inches tall and they're over 1,000 PHP (20+ USD) each. I'm not buying it with that kind of price ever. ^_^

ooohhh! I like that little stuffed toy looking guy from bleach as well. I want to get that as gift for my girlfriend, she'll love it 'cause she's a big bleach fan. let me know when you find one. ^_^
Wow, I never posted in this thread ... that's probably because my figure collection consists entirely of the Scrapped Princess figurines that came with the DVDs ... and a Digimon action figure that I bought at a garage sale. I don't think that counts
I don't live near any stores that sell anime figurines, and I haven't liked anything I've seen online enough to spend the money required.
